Dave Ranker has over 25 years of construction experience, both as a General Contractor and as a Glass & Glazing Subcontractor. Dave is a graduate of the California State University, Sacramento School of Engineering & Construction Management. He’s held positions with ABMCO, a commercial glazing company; Webcor Builders, one of the largest General Contractors in California; and Sundt Construction where he handled Estimating, Project Engineering, and Project Management in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
Dave launched RankerAMG, Inc. in 2005 and it has grown steadily. With talented team of employess and management, Ranker leverages tremendous experience and knowledge with a core philosophy of professionalism, attention to detail and value-added service. All designed to build a solid reputation and long-term relationships with its customers.
In addition to project management, Dave’s previous experience includes spearheading many corporate endeavors. At Webcor, he developed and authored proprietary standardized cost-estimating system, significantly improving cost estimating efficiency and accuracy. He researched, customized and implemented project management software used company-wide and conducted training classes, saving the company significant costs. He also developed specification for the local area network system, which became the company standard and initiated implementation of the company’s procedures manual. In addition, Dave authored and trained personnel on procedures for estimating, procurement, cost control, and change management.
At Bagatelos Architectural Glass Systems, where he joined as General Manager, Dave helped guide the company from a small local business to a large-scale, glazing contractor, increase its sales volume by over 300% in just 4 years.
Today, RankerAMG has established itself as leading builder of high-quality architectural cladding systems, supplying commercial construction projects throughout California.
